As a software dev I know how big of an undertaking a complete reworking of a site like this is and I want to say good job! The Update

On July 16, 2023 at 10:00PM EST, site staff Camcorder created a new news article[1] on Speedrun.com talking about new changes for the site. Elo had two main objectives for the new site. 1; Better serve the communities and users on Speedrun. 2; Make it easier and faster for us to continue delivering on goal 1. They made 15+ major changes to the site including a new text editor, the ability to follow other users, and a new "fresh" look to the site.

The update brought major backlash with it. Most users that commented disliked the update. A comment from Chrepuhon explains what many users were also thinking. As a software dev I know how big of an undertaking a complete reworking of a site like this is and I want to say good job! I did of course find a whole lot of bugs within the first 5 minutes but this is still so much better than I would have ever expected from you guys."
