Thiradell
Tyler "Thiradell" Wishall is the current updater of The Elite
Tyler joined the-elite at the end of 2006 and began competing for fast times in GoldenEye (and also a little in Perfect Dark). After awhile he cracked the Top 100 in the GoldenEye ranks, and managed to peak at 67th. He never got a World Record but is one second off of several (Dam Agent 0:54, Runway Agent 0:23, Runway Secret Agent 0:24, Bunker 1 Agent 0:18, Archives Agent 0:17, Depot Agent 0:27). He then played PD briefly and managed two Duel WRs and some good Chicago times (0:16/0:33/0:34) before taking a break from Rare FPSes. Other N64 games he enjoys playing include Mario Kart 64, Bomberman 64, Super Mario 64 and The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time.
Tyler then took interest in quite a few GCN games, with Metroid Prime and Madden NFL 2004 occupying quite a bit of his time. He currently owns about 40 GameCube games and has played everything from Viewtiful Joe to Tales of Symphonia to X-Men Legends to Animal Crossing! His favorite game on this system will always be Super Mario Sunshine, in which he currently has the World Record speedrun (100% run in progress).
Moving on from there, Tyler purchased an XBox 360 and proceeded to revel in current-gen technology. He chiefly enjoys Gears of War, BioShock and Guitar Hero on this system, but he's played a fairly wide range here too. His most impressive Achievements would be:
- Completing Gears of War on Insane (and Gears of War 2 co-op)
- Completing BioShock on Hard
- Finishing Assassin's Creed (the WHOLE thing. It was boring but I got it done)
- 5-starring all songs in Guitar Hero II/III on Hard (and most of them on Expert!)
- Completing Through the Fire and Flames on Expert
- Getting his 500th Achievement and 10,000 Gamerscore AT THE SAME TIME (with minimal planning involved!)
Outside of video games, Tyler enjoys playing/watching sports! He recently finished last in an NCAA Tournament bracket group containing 42 people, and is determined to never let such a disgrace occur again. His favorite teams are the St. Louis Cardinals, Kansas City Chiefs (it's been 40 years we're due for a Super Bowl), Miami Heat and Kansas State Wildcats. Tyler loves playing/watching poker also, and always finds himself rooting for Phil Hellmuth despite having little respect for the man. Tyler LOVES acting and wants to be an actor/writer/director/producer when he grows up. Nothing like going to the theater to see a great play/film...imagine being involved in one, maybe even from the ground up!
Most of all Tyler loves God and praises Him for all the great things that He has done.
