Nikolaj "ThaRixer" Sørensen is a speedrunner from Denmark.

ThaRixer started speedrunning in 2011, and through the 2010s managed to climb high up the ranks to achieve notable world records in Jak 3, Ratchet & Clank, God of War, Digimon World 3, and eventually tried his hands with GoldenEye and Perfect Dark in mid 2018.

He joined the-elite in august on 2018, where on his first day of joining, was asked to join the wining team Buy the Dip, lead and invited by Luke Szklarz. He accepted and got some decent points for his team. As the pressure was starting to rise between the top 2 teams, people suggested that ThaRixer should start playing Perfect Dark, since points were more easily achievable, since then he was hooked.

ThaRixer's first big white whale was Chicago Agent 0:14, which he set out to achieve withing the first week of playing Perfect Dark, and finally achieved it on February 6th 2019, being the third to tie the time with David Clemens and Joris Quevedo.

ThaRixer's approach to the game was a split focus on points and world record times. He realized that to get a good rank he would have to fill his times page, but to get some of the times he really wanted, he needed to prove his skill and set some records, which has lead to his timespage looking a bit all over the place.

Some other notable records that ThaRixer achieved was Infiltration Agent 1:10, Defection Special Agent 0:17, Extraction Agent 0:48, Defense Agent 0:45 and Rescue Perfect Agent 2:36.

On August 22nd ThaRixer achieved his first untied world record with Maian SOS Special Agent 1:50. The time took 100-120 hours to achieve and is still untied to this day.

ThaRixer broke into the Top 10 at the start of 2020 on January 4th and peaked at 7th place on the rankings.
